Description
This was the cover to CBG #1258, dated December 26, 1997, which was a tribute to Stan Lee. I believe this is the original painted cover (over a stat of the inked version.) The artwork is by Marie Severin. (In the published version, the DC and Archie figures in the lower left corner are not visible due to the subscription label and bar code.)

Amazing! Marie Severin was a tremendous talent. Love all the characters she managed to fit in here! I notice the DC characters--Superman and Batman--making rude gestures towards Stan! Hilarious!
