At the end of the memorable “Inferno” crossover, the mutant babies that were being used by the Goblin Queen to open a portal to Limbo were handed over to the government. They were then turned over to a so-called Project Purgatory hidden in Limbo that sought to make them into living weapons. After the Project officers got stranded there for 26 years (though less time had elapsed on Earth), they vowed to destroy that other realm by calling the Elder Gods. Here, the invulnerable Toko, one of the Inferno babies, does just that by completing the Bloodstone amulet. (Bought from the artist, Wizard World Toronto, 2011/03)
