Description
There's always an Adam Hughes story...

I was second in line at the convention doors for this sketch (I learned my lesson from 2003). It pays to get up early, because I got to meet John Higashi, who was first in line and Anthony Forgione, who got there shortly after. Steve Coulson got there a little later. Great conversations were had and I got to see some amazing artwork. I really believe waiting in line is half the fun. You meet some amazing people.

Anyway, the convention opens and I zigged when I should have zagged in artist alley. Next thing I know, I go from being in the number 2 position, to the something like 30.

But thanks to John, Steve and Mike Fogg for putting in a good word for me with Adam, I got a great sketch. (Mike zigged the right way and ended up in front of me, much to his amazement. Nice way to meet you, Mike!!!). And thanks to Alison for seeing me at the front of the convention line and taking pity on my wrong turn. You guys rock!!!
