Created 1998.

I purchased this directly from Chic, who was a great guy to talk to. It might be hard to notice in the scan, but he got some of the coloring wrong (near Thing's knee). He told me how I could fix it but also talked to me (nicely) about not being so obsessive about such things.

When Chic passed away, I received a nice note from his daughter(?) thanking me for remembering her dad. She said that talking to fans gave him great satisfaction.

I was so glad Mark Heike gave me Chic's address while Chic was still alive. Got to correspond with him a little and let him know how much he sure influenced me and how much of an impact the Kirby/Stone team had.
