Description
This is the unpublished splash from Catwoman 52 - the concluding issue of the Catwoman vs Black Mask saga - where Catwoman kills Black Mask! This page, directly following the killing, show's Catwoman reflecting on the violence, before being confronted by the Infinite Crisis - and Catwomen from across the multiverse. I love that he even included versions from TV and movies!

Look carefully, and amongst all the Cat's - you'll find the Black Mask's bloody remains.

Note that DC was not happy with his Catwoman panel, so he redrew it for DC, and shown below is the redone art and published version.

This was Pete's final issue on Catwoman, and last issue before One Year Later, when Holly took up the Cat mantel.

Many thanks to Serendipity Art guru Jerry, and Pete!

I really like the feel of the last panel more than the published version... and I love Mr. Woods' clean lines. Seeing the different versions of Catwomen is pretty awesome. Very cool page, my friend. And can I add that your gallery just keeps getting more awesome with each addition? :)

Great page(s)! I like them both but prefer the unpublished version best. Nice pick up Anthony!

Amazing page ! MUCH better than the published one. I assume that DC didn't go for this version, not due to quality issues, but only to keep some sort of consistency with some other INFINITE CRISIS "last pages"...

I'm not sure how I missed this page in your gallery. It's gorgeous!
