George Wilson - Space Family Robinson Cover 50

I was lucky to come across this Dell/Four Color cover by George Wilson on eBay recently. This is from one of the last issues of Space Family Robinson (for Gold key, the series ended with issue 54) and may be one of the last covers Wilson did for the series. The Grand Comicbook Database continues to credit Wilson with covers past this, but they don't look like his work, to me. This one, however, is as consistent as his earlier covers. The colors in this are brilliant, and the monsters are classic SFR!

Interestingly, Dan Speigel reproduced this image as a line drawing for the cover of issue 59, published by Whitman 5 years later in 1982.
