AK Tribute - Comic Man prelim

I few months ago, I was talking to a Friend Alistair Keast, I agreed to draw him a figure for his business venture, the only remit was that it looked Like Superman, but with a C on the chest.

Before I could send him the prelim ideas (Wanted to use the C gesture instead of the symbol). I was sadden to learn that Alistair had passed away, after a few aborted attempts, this is the current state of the sketch.

Besides, getting a proper artists to do it, any constructive suggestions to improve this would be appreciated.
