Description
While the original picture is one taken while it was hanging on the wall, added some new images.

This piece is cool in the fact that Jurgens' pencils are one one side of the art and Ordway's inks are on the other side. Unfortunately, there's no way to display both when hanging on the wall (other than maybe a photocopy of one side). The way Dan explained it to me, when it was pencilled, he didn't realize that her power only came out of one hand so drew it the wrong way. In order to correct it without re-drawing it, Jerry put it over a light and inked the back so it would show her using the powers the right way.

I also included a closeup of a note in the margins from Dan to Jerry. It reads "Jerry, Jade is relieving pressure from volcano to keep it from blowing. Unlikely? Sure, but it was either the drill or the giant vibrator..." When I bought the piece and noticed that, Dan offered to erase it. There was no way, I thought that was great to see the fun being had between two of my favorite artists.

You can't tell from this picture since it's framed, but you can really see how the artists worked together when you hold the art. The pencils are actually one one side and the inks on the other. Apparently, when it was penciled, he had the beam coming out of the wrong hand, so it was inked on the other side to help reverse the image. So it's like getting 2 pieces of art for the price of one. :)

Wow, mark ! I'd LOVE to see the pencils - any chance to add them in the additional images at one point ? I assume it's probably a bit of a fuss since it's framed...

It wasn't the fanciest of frames, so it wasn't that hard to do. I just forgot I had never gone back to get the pencils until you had commented on it. So thanks for the reminder, Gal! I've updated it with a couple pictures to show the inks, pencils, and best of all, the comment from Dan to Jerry. Enjoy!
