Music promo director Blair Young made a pitch for a band's video in which he would pay tribute to the much loved drones from "Silent Runnning". Knowing that sketches weren't enough to convince the management that this could be achieved on a modest budget, I quickly made a cardboard mock-up of the costume, acted inside the bloody thing and submitted a video test. The band's producers instead opted for a cheesy 50's pastiche.
