Description
This is Tom's color comp for a 24" x 36" oil entitled "Dead Men Tell No Tales," or alternatively, "The corsair." It's a nod to the great Howard Pyle, founder of the Brandywine school. The finished oil will be posted here soon. It's part of a series Tom is doing. Incredible stuff, the like of which hasn't been seen since the glory days of the Scribner's Classics.
