Description

Steve Rude and Gary Martin Nexus: The Origin (nn) Story Page 37 Dave of Thune Original Art (Dark Horse, 1992). This issue was designed to introduce new readers to Nexus, while adding depth to the origin for older readers. This page re-tells the origin of Dave of Thune, as originally presented in black and white magazine format Nexus #1 (from 1981). A nice image of Dave's wife Elva (mother of Fred, aka Judah Maccabee). Wonderfully crafted in ink over graphite on DC Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.5". There are a couple of paste-up text corrections. In Excellent condition.
