Neal Adams, Green Lantern-Green Arrow

Decades ago I remember having a daydream thinking about how one day when I was rich and successful one of the things I would like to do is have Neal Adams and Jack Kirby draw a mural for me.
Well, people grow up, time moves on and passions, hobbies and dreams fade away. But like the tides they rise again. So when I got into the art collecting hobby Adams and Kirby were two of my seven grails along with an eighth objection of attention, the JLA/Avengers project.
Well I was so committed to saving for the JLA/Avengers project that a year ago May I passed on this piece. It was one of three regrets I had while relentlessly saving for a JLA/Avengers page. The other two being Wood, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents pages I passed on.
51 weeks later it came up again on eBay.
Knowing I had missed out once before, I made the deal happen. I asked Jason Adams, Neal's son to have Neal personalize his work. He did, now as Paul Harvey would say, you know the rest of the story. My thanks to Jason Adams for making this happen.
