Having owned several Volkswagen Beetles in my life time (still have a 1957) to say I'm a big fan is an understatement. This is one of the best representations and accurate depictions I've ever seen animated of a 1960's VW Bug.
Lilo & Stitch the movie came out in 2002 and was traditionally animated on paper but digitally colored so no painted cels exist. It was one of a few Disney Theatrical Features solely animated out of Orlando Florida in the now defunct MGM Studios, close to my home town.
Stitch busts through the wall of the house holding the bug and saying "Blue Punch Buggy!" then proceeding to throw the bug saying "No Punch Back!". Not many beetles left on the road anymore, at least in Florida, so I'm sure the younger generation, including my kids, have no idea that game even exists.
