Protector / First Knife tribe characters and creature designs by Simon Roy (2020) - Concept art / Character Design

Simon Roy has written and drawn some wonderful sci-fi comics over the years. I first saw experienced his work on the relaunched Prophet series published by Image in 2012.

These are some character designs and concept pieces Simon drew for The Protector (aka First Knife) series that Image Comics published in 2020. Simon was the writer on the series but did several concept pieces for the series and a cover. The book included some really unique and great art from Artyom Trakhanov.

The top two pieces feature designs for some of the Tribe characters and were published in the back of issue #1.
