Wow, that is really beautiful work. Last week on Dueling Dealers was the first time I think I saw a Fabry pen and ink cover. Not one full week later, here's another one! I love his painted stuff, but his pen and ink work is really great as well.
Fabry will forever be known as the HELLBLAZER & PREACHER cover artist, but he has quite a bit of pencil/ink interiors and covers out there.
His anatomy is always spot-on, and this is most evident in these type pieces.
It's always Four O'Clock somewhere. It's ok, take an hour off for happy hour. From the way Fabry draws these guys, he's studied the effects of heavy drinking on faces over time. Secret Files were the Who's Who update and these entries were meant to be the definitive representational pieces.
Brilliant! I miss the classic Hellblazer series. Lots of wonderful stories and amazing artwork.
