Caniff draws you into the conversation as if you're sitting there.   The point of view changes with every panel.   Classic daily. 

Very interesting to see Caniff rotate the lighting as the "camera" angle of the scenes change. Carries your eye across the four panels in expert fashion!

Great example from this era of T&tP!  Love how Caniff handles a quiet scene

All panels are great and adroitly handled. But the lighting in that third panel is just ethereal and out of this world. Sublime daily!
