Description
Released October 22, 1985 with cover by Bob Layton. The writer Mark Gruenwald loved MODOK so much that he killed him in Captain America #313, which came out October 1, 1985.

All smiles, I know what it takes to fool this town
I'll do it 'til the sun goes down
And all through the nighttime
Oh, yeah
Oh, yeah, I'll tell you what you wanna hear
Leave my sunglasses on while I shed a tear
It's never the right time
Yeah, yeah

I put my armor on, show you how strong I am
I put my armor on, I'll show you that I am

I'm unstoppable
I'm a Porsche with no brakes
I'm invincible
Yeah, I win every single game
I'm so powerful
I don't need batteries to play
I'm so confident
Yeah, I'm unstoppable today

Unstoppable today
Unstoppable today
Unstoppable today
I'm unstoppable today

If MODOK had joined the Squadron Supreme, Nighthawk never would have been able to stop them and they'd still rule their world.

That's a hell of a commission!

Commission pieces really reflect the collector and their taste in art- and this is ALL you, baby!😎

All of Bob's sensibilities with armor on Iron Man really come through here.  And I'm not sure what this says about me, but there's just something  about a piece with a bunch of characters lying dead on the ground that always gets me excited.  LOL!  Great cover, published or not.

Tommy Layton's Marvel hidden gem variants with One Minute Later Modok the conqueror is the way to go!  It'll be right up there with Skottie Youngs and Peach Momokos in variant themes.

I'm sure we agree Tommy is more in line with postmortem Perez.
