Great pre Batman movie era in 1988 as Breyfogle was the new kid on the Batman group of artists put on The Detective Comics title. High energy and a fresh take made him a favorite once the movie came out! His Batman was always in tension and here we see him releasing that build up with a mighty splash!
KKKRACK! Classic Batman moment as the Dark Knight bursts the ropes that have bound him to the wooden frame. Batman may not have superpowers, but he does have more sheer grit and determinatiion than anyone. Stunning splash page by Norm Breyfogle. Great pick-up, congrats!
