Have you ever come across an image that simply gave you butterflies in your stomach?

Josh Middleton's depiction of Magma is just such a vision. I was immediatly struck by how mesmerizing the clean lines married to the lively and complex colors came together to bring the character to life. Specifically, I love the contrast where Magma is surrounded by the flames of her powers all the while maintaining an icy blue cold stare.

Since the first time I gazed upon this beauty, I have been hoping for a chance to have it. I would also like to thank Josh who took the time at the end of Friday to talk with me about his craft and for drawing me a stunning sketch of Dani Moonstar.
