Groot - Art-vent Calendar 2025 - Day 2a!

In conjunction with F M’s ‘Doodle Week’, I wanted to take a few days to present a similar assortment of con sketch confectionery, delicious doodles, and candied commissions to celebrate the holiday season here on CAF…. The return of the festive, goofy, goody-laden, OA Advent calendar…. The return of the ART-VENT CALENDAR (2025 EDITION)! :)

My first Arthur Adams “solo” (non-jam) piece. A nifty little sproutling of a sketch at 7”x7”, with the stark and simple, downright gorgeous Adams line speaking volumes and exuding the humor, warmth, and charm of this character. Not the largest piece, but you’d hate to use a lot of paper on a Groot sketch, right? All those trees…. (Groot's thoughts on that matter are perfectly reflected in his expression here...)
