Description

In conjunction with F M�s �Doodle Week�, I wanted to take a few days to present a similar assortment of con sketch confectionery, delicious doodles, and candied commissions to celebrate the holiday season here on CAF�. The return of the festive, goofy, goody-laden, OA Advent calendar�. The return of the ART-VENT CALENDAR (2025 EDITION)! :)

I�ve been very excited for this one�. Tuesday�s Groot and Gleep! Tuesday�s Groot and Gleep! (I just like saying that. :) ) And please check out my Phil Foglio gallery for today�s companion piece.

My first Arthur Adams �solo� (non-jam) piece. A nifty little sproutling of a sketch at 7�x7�, with the stark and simple, downright gorgeous Adams line speaking volumes and exuding the humor, warmth, and charm of this character. Not the largest piece, but you�d hate to use a lot of paper on a Groot sketch, right? All those trees�. (Groot's thoughts on that matter are perfectly reflected in his expression here...)

Another quite fun one (but I would have welcomed more context? Like when? How? Directly obtained? Is that a remark? A freebie?)

I Am Groot. You are Groot. We Are All Groot!!? Also, shouldn't this be Art-vent Calendar "Day 2AA" considering it was done by AA!!?? See...fathers don't have a monopoly over dad jokes... fun Groot sketch! ;)

What people don't know is that doodles at this level of finish takes Arthur 2 hours to finish!
