A Cokcrum-Claremont UXM page from the first stage with Magneto, the arch nemesis, fighting the whole group, being the first confrontation..... What more can you ask for in 6 panels? Surely the best panel page of all. And for those of us who have been lucky enough to see the “mutant” treasures that Mario keeps, we can affirm that this page is just the tip of the iceberg.  Very TOP is an understatement. My sincere congratulations my friend.

Great first run Cockrum page with the new team taking on the traditional X-Men villain!  We couldn't wait to see them take this test against the most powerful foes to see how they'd match up.

Mindblowing page! What a meorable moment in the X-men's battle against Magneto--When Colossus overcomes his fear of Magneto's power and faces him anyway! It's a powerful moment, made more so by Dave Cockrum's incredible skill as an artist. Cockrum had an amazing ability to stage scenes in such a way as to dramatize the moment to its fullest extent. His ability to compose a scene and draw believable characters performing incredible stunts was only possible because of the phenomenal inks of Terry Austin. Together they created action-packed scenes like no other. They were truly a formidable team! Thanks for sharing this page from your stellar collection!

I love Grainger's smooth, glossy inks here, especially in the last panel where he ensures that the action is still so clear despite the angle and differences in figure size. Lovely action page!
