Batman Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Omnibus cover

The Turtles and Batman leap into action against Krang’s inter-dimensional evil! Grail stuff here on this cover to the Omnibus collecting the three comic series that was originally a variant cover for issue #5 of the third series. The two Turtles in the upper left were removed to fit the title for the Omnibus cover.

Freddie did such amazing job drawing the series with his detailed ink wash style. Adding Kevin drawing the original Mirage turtles here and you have the ultimate Batman/TMNT cover! And if you want to know why there are 8 Turtles, you’ll have to read the book.

Freddie is a really nice guy who met me for dinner to hand off the cover in person, and regaled me with stories of working with Kevin and other greats like Jim Lee. He told me this was the only cover he did with Kevin for the series.

So stoked to add this one to my Turtles art collection.
