Doom is one of the Top 5 (if not Top 3) greatest Marvel villains of all time. Just a great character design. His impact and visual appeal never gets old. Fantastic piece! Bring on the bad guys indeed.

The cathedral setting is giving Doom more legitimacy as a royal who is divinely chosen to rule!

OMG! What a gorgeous portrait of Doctor Doom by Stefano Raffaele! Splendid splash page that really cements Doom's self-image as the most powerful villain in the MCU. I love the confident pose of Doom, sitting on this elaborately decorated throne in a magnificient medieval building with soaring ceilings and intricately decorated galleries. Doom seems to be ensconced in a cathedral of some kind, which is appropriate for someone who often seems to see himself as some kind of God. I am fascinated by the elaborate detailing that Stefano has put into this splash! A truly magnificent work of art! Fantastic pick-up, congrats!

A very opulent throne and palace, very suitable for intimidating visiting dignitaries. Great pose, beautifully rendered.
