Think there will always be some room in the collection for representative Superman art. Probably the first superhero I was ever exposed to and so will always hold a special place in the heart.

Thrilled when I had a chance to add the title page from the kickoff to the "Death of Superman." 80's/90's kids will know that this really was the beginning of the end of the comics boom of the time. Everyone you knew got an issue of. What a time.

I think this page started off as intending to be a DPS. The opposite page is the first full appearance of Doomsday so it looks cool in the book. Doomsday revealed across from such a great, heroic image of Superman and Metropolis.

The art came without the title lettering so I had the great James Pascoe help me and create a small strip of overlay to include the "Doomsday! Part One" lettering. Makes a huge difference.

The beginning of the end is just the beginning!...what a memorable Title Page to kick off the entire Death Of Superman storyline. Undeniably one of the most impactful storylines on the comic book industry and pop culture as a whole. Congrats on owning one of the early key published images from it!

Kids just hung out after school back then. No parents.

Such a great larger than life image of Superman!  It's the 90's and Supes was leading the way just like he did from the start of the superhero genre.  The storyline is still one of Superman's most significant all these years later.

What a way to kick off one of the biggest Supes stories of all time!  Love it.  Like he's zooming right off the page.  Congrats!
