What a gorgeous page to Arkham Asylum! Dave McKean really knew how to tell a story visually. Here, he uses small closeup scenes to build up the tension of the story. Each is painted beautifully. But none tells the whole story. Therein lies the tension. Everyone seems to be waiting. But for what? McKean demonstrates that, sometimes it's what you don't tell the reader that builds tension. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
