The first time I ever met Buzz (at WonderCon 2007) we talked about doing a Red Sonja commission. Buzz had an absolutey brilliant (and very funny) concept for the piece. The good news and bad news about it is that at the time, I had no idea that my buddy Jonathan had already arranged a commission for me as a gift. Since Buzz wasn't sure I wanted to double up on another commission, he was forced to spill the beans about the surprise gift. As such, I didn't go through with his Red Sonja idea. Always regretted that as I'm sure it would have made for a wonderful and hilarious visual. Anyway, congrats on this great Sonja piece.
