I became a fan of Kitz n' Katz when I came across the comic books several years back. Since then I collected copies of every comic, including the strips published in the Comics Buyer's Guide. This lead me to contacting Bob Laughlin's family member and getting the rights to publish the complete run of Kitz 'n' Katz, which you can order from Amazon, Bookshop.org, and wherever books are sold online.
Even with all that, I still had yet to obtain an original art for the strip. Bob Laughlin's son told me he didn't have any, but a while ago a couple of original arts went up on an auction, so I made a deal with another person who wanted an original of the strip, where I would pay for half of the auction cost and we each would get one of the strips. This is the one I got.
Seeing the art in person really makes me appreciate Laughlin's inkwork. Very clean and precise. One of the best looking originals I ever received.
This strip appeared in the Comic Book Buyer's Guide sometime in 1981. This appears in page 19 in the book I published. Artwork measures 3.5x15".
