Kirby's Star Spangled Squad Commission Inks, Mike Royer

While Jack Kirby has always been my favorite artist, it never occurred to me until long after his death to try and buy a piece of his work.
Since then I have labored to actually own a Kirby page. After I got number one, the
quest for number two began. But I always thought, gee what if Jack was still
alive to do a commission for me.
I decided to do the next best thing and
get one of his principle living inkers to do the commission I would have asked Jack to do for me.
So I contacted Mike Royer and asked him to take a shot at drawing Kirby's patriotic heroes in full Kirby mode. Mike dubbed this piece the
Star Spangled Squad and I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled I am with it.
