Ted McKeever Batman sketch

This sketch and the experience related to getting it is a perfect example why I do this crazy crazy thing we call comic art collecting. This is why I endure the lines, the fanboy odors, the crowds, the expense, the morons who cut in line and the spousal kissing up I have to do to go to comic cons. I wasn't sure what to expect from Ted McKeever as he rarely makes a con appearance so I knew little about him other than his books and his friendship with fellow CAFer and friend Kasra Ghanbari (yes, the MODOK guy). What I found out is that not only is Ted supremely talented, he's also a very friendly guy with a great sense of humor. I was very very lucky to get on his sketch list at this recent NYC ComicCon and the above is the terrific sketch he did in my book. Yes, those are indeed coffee stains and they're there on purpose as an inside joke based on a story Ted told me and Kasra. Thanks to Ted for doing this great Bat sketch and Kasra for introducing me!
