Description
here's a photo of my brother and I opening up our X-Mas gifts......as you can see he has a GI Joe: Army Soldier, while I have a Captain Action.......Capt. Action_( from Ideal Toys ), was a 12' figure that could be changed into a number of Superheroes, like Flash Gordon, the Phantom, Superman, Batman, Lone Ranger, and of course.....Captain America.

Cool toys for both of you. I can remember going to our Sears store and seeing all the Captain Action/ hero costume change boxes. I think they were about $4.50. A lot of money back then.

My brother and I got Captain Action as well as Action Boy back in the day for Christmas as well. As I recall, we had a lot of fun with them, though Action Boy and the cheap rupper band that kept his arms attached never did seem to survive much past Christmas day, let alone into the new year.
