Description
Sorry about the crappy scan. This one was a shock to see in the ole Piggly-Wiggly magazine rack. I spent all my comic allowance money on this one book and didn't regret it at all.

OKAY...Is this for real? You have three pages here...but two of the three would make most people's "holy Grail" section with a Frazetta kicker. You swung for the fences with all three. WOW!!! The only thing missing is a Byrne/Austin X-men COVER! LOL Totally blown away....Edward Endres Fyberdyne Laboratories

Yes, it's real. And as for the Byrne X-men covers, I had four of 'em at one time. And lots and lots of other cool covers too. Most of the art is still floating around here in other galleries. WO

Yeah, it took a lot of quarters to buy that book, and it was one of the best investments in enjoyment I ever made. As for the cover itself, it is one of my all-time favorites and one I find hard to believe anyone actually possesses.

I saw this original for sale at a Big Apple Con in NYC, in November, 2008. Asking price was $55,000. Did you sell it after you uploaded it in 2004? Or were you selling it?

I remember seeing this cover and comic in books and finally found on in a second hand book store. Such an iconic cover and an amazing add to your collection. Congratulations on this grail piece.
