I'm a little confused about this piece. I picked it up on E-Bay a few years back when I started collecting and was told it was an unpublished pencil piece by Barry Kitson from the JLA Year One series. But check out the Year One trade and you will see a very familiar image two or three pages in. If anybody has any information on it feel free to drop me a line.
Now I wanted to have this piece finished and turned to Joe Rubinstein for the job. I have seen some of the work other members of the list have posted by Joe, so he seemed like a great choice.
As you can see he was, taking the rough pencils and turning them into a true gem.
If you have a copy of the JLA Year One trade take a look at that work and this piece and I think you will agree Joe did an outstanding job.
As always my thanks to the Marvel Two-In-One-Guy for seaming this together for me so I can share it with you all.
