Description
Fellow CAF-er Mr Schwartz worked on Batman from 1948 to 1953 and illustrated several Catwoman stories during the Golden Age. He was kind enough to recreate his eye-catching Catwoman cover (her 4th cover appearance) from Batman 65. Thank you Mr. Schwartz!

Yes, sadly Lew is one of the forgotten G.A. Batman creators (unlike Dick Spring or Moldoff). Later in life he rarely did conventions, and had little name recognition because he only drew Batman as Bob's ghost. When I spoke with Lew after my commission arrive, I found out that he struggled to complete my commission, and I was fortunate to get a drawing before he truly retired from drawing (was forced to by bad eyesight and his wife).
