Biffignandi Spider cover Fleetway

In the late 1960's , Alessandro Biffignandi worked for the british Fleetway agency , doing wonderful painted covers for the Spider . This exilarating illustration (39 x 27,5) is from Fleetway Super Library , Fantastic Series nº 2 (Stupendous Series) "The Spider : the professor of Power". The Spider was created by writter Ted Cowan and artist Reg Bunn , Superman co-creator Jerry Siegel took over the writing of the character with his third adventure , and would write the bulk of his adventures.
