Description
The page I wish I had back the most :).

This is under the GRAIL category for me. To the best of my recollection, this issue of Power Man and Iron Fist was the earliest comic that I actually remember buying off the rack at the nearby 7-11 when I was young. I know I had some older comics that had been bought previously by mom or whoever on trips to the store or the dentist office to keep my occupied....but I remember grabbing this one off the rack myself.....funny the things that stick in your mind as you grow older. Published in September 1981 from the info at the bottom of the page. This comic also then started me collecting both Rom Spaceknight and Power man and Iron Fist

My favorite thing about collecting art is getting the pieces that you remember from being a kid. Were all grown up know and can actually buy the art that made those memories, that's what it's about.

When one can find a page that connects so strongly to one's childhood, that page is indeed Grail-worthy! Congratulations!

For me, collecting art is about reconnecting with our past. It's like finding a lost friend and being able to hold on to that memory for as long as we own the art. I smile when i hear about you remembering buying comics off the 7-11 spinner rack. I also remember being around that age at about the same time and biking up to the local 7-11 and with full enthusiasm poring over the new titles.
