Here is a great example of the care Barry Ktison takes with his work. As you saw from the previous page he had an image he wasn't happy with. So Barry took pencil to another page where he worked out a much more dynamic panel shot.

You can see where Barry started to sketch out a shot with the hands clutching the soldier's neck. In the finished panel you can see the head angle has changed the shot is elongated and the hands are a bit more in play.
