Description
This is my favorite Mister Oswald strip of all time, and I can't tell you how happy I was when it showed up for sale. The drawing, the pacing, and the narrative are all perfect. I love how the last panel sets up the joke related to the second-to-last panel. Just terrific stuff. Circa 1957.

These are all really interesting, very well illustrated comic strips. This is one of the reasons I enjoy CAF so much, I get to see all manner of great artwork that I previously wasn't familiar with. Thanks for posting scans of these.

This is something wonderful that I would have never looked for or even thought about. I hope that one day I have the same eye for comic strips that you do.

Weird to think how much other brilliant stuff I've never (and will never) hear of. Thanks for sharing this little gem!

I would have never known about this save for your learned scholarship. As nice as the art and humor may be, I was struck by the "time capsule" quality of the TV set in the last panel. Weird what catches my eye sometimes.
