Description

After obtaining my Jeremy Bastian sketch I requested a couple from Katie Cook. This Spidey and Mary Jane piece and a Colossus and Wolverine "Fastball Special" elsewhere in this gallery.

When I picked them up Katie informed me that she and Jeremy, along with David Petersen of Mouse Guard fame, get together every Thursday to draw and bounce ideas off one another.

I had already intended to pick up David's Mouse Guard book and a sample of his original work if possible ( I was successful... but wasn't able to add a sketch from him to my sketchbook this time around), based on a recommendation from Terry Moore. So, at this year's SDCC I inadvertently sought out art by each of these artists which hang out and draw together on a weekly basis... what a small, small, world.

WANTED!!!
