Green / Ketcham - New Mutants 13, Cover

Randy Green's and Rick Ketcham's retro depiction of the New Mutants on this cover recalls the group's golden days in the 1980s when Chris Claremont, Bob McLeod and later Bill Sienkiewicz sheparded this group from a junior x-team to a prominence of their own. If you are a devout CAF junkie, like I am, by touring Jonathan Mueller's CAF, you will have learned that, when first conceived, the first member of the New Mutants was to have been none other than Kitty Pryde!
