Katchoo by Terry Moore

I don't know much about the origin of this piece for the exception that it was brought in to the comic shop that I used to work in while I was in univeristy. My boss Ted purchased it and it hung in the shop for a number of years. Over the years I offered Ted money for it continuously over the years, only to be shot down. However, the final day I worked at the shop Ted handed the piece over to me as a gift. Not a bad trade off considering that Ted aquired my autographed picture of Marta Kristen and Angela Cartwright. I always appreciated the gift. Ted was a real decent guy.

This piece is a deffinate example of the mastery of "Strangers in Paradise" creator Terry Moore. He can take a few simple lines and make a beautiful and dynamic piece or SiP's star Katchoo. Sadly, its so faint that it doesn't display well on my wall where its framed but it remains to be one of the prides of my collection. I hope one day to meet Terry and see if I can get a matching Francine piece.
