Ex Machina Special No. 2, Page 6

After he gained the power to speak to and command animals(first issue of the "Ex Machina Special"), Pherson proceeds to wreak havok as an extreme defender of animal rights (in this page, finishing off a thrown police officer). At the end of this 2-part story, Pherson gets his due when the Great Machine turns his powers agains him, causing him to be mauled by a pack of dogs, followed by an explosion that brings down a building on top of him. But without a dead body, he may still return and his parrot has been seen in current "Ex Machina" continuity. I particularly love the central panel in this page. As usual, beautiful work by Chris Sprouse and Karl Story.
