When I first got to Japan, I was channel surfing one day, seeing what was on and trying to understand what was being said and I happened upon this incredibly violent fight with this fat pink guy and some of the craziest superhero characters I had ever seen. I really didn't understand much what they were saying, but since it was mostly nonstop fighting, it didn't seem like much of a problem. Thus was I introduced to the world of Dragonball Z.
