Michael Jantze: Norm as superhero, San Anselmo 2003

      Michael Jantze created, wrote, and drew The Norm comic strip which I read in my local newspaper The Argus. The year and a quarter when Norm became the "pretend" boyfriend of his friend Reine and fell in love with her is as funny as anything I've ever read. When the syndication contract ran its course, Michael moved to doing the strip online for a couple years. He is now finishing up The Knocked Out Loaded storyline and creating short animation. This drawing was done at one of the strip's real locations Bubba's Diner. Michael used to frequent the restaurant and developed his strip while working at Industrial Light and Magic.
