Magik - Eric Basaldua

Before the Pittsburgh Comic-Con, I started searching through other people's collection of Eric "Ebas" Basaldua's art on CAF.com to try and determine what I might want in the way of a sketch for him, if I was lucky enough to get onto his list at the show. While doing that, one member of our community mentioned to check out his Blog because he's a really funny guy. When I did then, I saw that he posted a message that read: "Anybody who brings me a bottle of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum will get a free kick-ass sketch". So, with nothing to lose, I dropped by my local liquor store before driving off to the Con. When I pulled the bottle out and gave it to him...you should've seen the look on his face! He absolutely LOVED it!!! After we took a few pictures to commemorate the moment...he did exactly as he said he would, drawing an awesome marker rendering of Magik for me. Ebas is an awesome guy--so go out of your way to meet him at the next Con you're at where he's appearing. And bring rum! Thanks, Eric!!! :D
