Shadowcat - Terry Moore

At the Pittsburgh Comic-Con, 2009, I found myself in a bit of a pickle. I had contacted Terry Moore prior to the show and learned that he was only going to be able to do ten sketches through the whole weekend. As soon as the doors opened, I found myself waiting in line, desperately trying to get an Adam Hughes sketch...knowing that it meant I'd probably be out of luck to get the Terry Moore piece I ALSO desperately wanted. In came my loving and supportive wife Amanda to the rescue! She navigated the Con floor and approached Mr. Moore with my request while I continued to wait in line. I never did get my Hughes piece, but she managed to get me one of my favorite pieces of Shadowcat that I've ever seen, which you're looking at right now. The piece just oozes character and the scan doesn't do the linework a bit of justice. Mr. Moore was a super guy, friendly and extremely approachable...even to my wife, who doesn't know all that much about comics. To me, that's some high praise. Thanks, Terry...and thanks, Amanda!!! :D
