DescriptionI great enjoyed Joe's graphic novel Yossel, finding it a powerful what-if kind of tale. I thought his approach to the drawing, largely pencil and white-out, was quite beautiful. So when I had a chance to get a second deluxe version of Joe's How to Draw From Life, I chose Yossel as the commission subject. Joe drew this one directly in the book, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The piece really captures the mood of the book, and the little touch of blue sets things off nicely.Social/Sharing |
