This 11x14 sketch is 1 of 2 done by Bob as a 'Thank you' to the previous owner and her friend - for casting his wife in the "Divorce Court" TV show, when she was a young actress. Bob drew a Batman for her friend, but was destroyed after a margarita spill. She kept hers in much better condition and still had the letter and envelope Bob sent with the sketches.
I’ve removed both her name and her friends name, from both letter and envelope, for privacy.

As a huge Batman and Catwoman fan, having a Bob Kane original is a big thrill!

As nice as the sketch is, the history in the envelope and the letter are much more exciting. You've got a great piece of history in your collection.

The rare and somewhat unusual image of Catwoman, especially those eyes, makes this one a little more interesting than the usual Bob Kane sketch. Also, the fact that you were able to collect (and display) the letter and envelope makes it all the better.
