Description

The Aberrant game was published in 1999 and was set in a 2008 where super-powered humans (called “novas”) started appearing. “Reign” was a tongue-in-cheek look at nova cultists who attributed their powers to demonic sources. This piece illustrates the “Black House” in San Francisco. Originally used as a house of trendy Satan worship by a charlatan guru, it was subsequently transformed into a lush playground for the decadent elite. (Bought from Michael Gaydos, 02/2010)
