DescriptionI had this artwork pencilled and inked by Thomas Yeates. The story behind it was that in the Christmas of 2008, my youngest daughter Rebecca (age 4) discovered the Grinch cartoon. She loved it. She watched it continuously. After her watching it about 20 times I told her, "You know Rebecca, we have a Grinch ornament". She was surprised to hear that and almost didn't believe me. I took her to the Christmas tree and showed her the ornament, and she was so surprised and happy. I just loved that image of her face being so happy, I had Mr. Yeates draw it for me. I think it turned out fantastic!Social/Sharing |

This is a great example of how this hobby can be fun and meaningful. Tom is a fantastic illustrator and today's "hot shot - flavor of the day" artists really need to learn from masters like him.
