This is a terrific drawing (one of the hand needs a little more work).Body and head are excellent.Try this method that i'm doing presently-you should buy a stump or smudger at the art store.I find that it distribute the graphite very evenly.Spray workable fixative on it,then applied a darker layer of graphite and again use the the smudger.Spray,Then a darker layer and keep build until the rendering is somewhat finish(make sure to use the stump or smudger..i don't know the proper name..anyway they are easy to find). Then you should ink it with Copic markers. You can match marker to the graphite tone that you have shaded or rendered.Inking your drawing with this unique marker gives your drawing a fantastic effect.

Two minor problem 1)fixative spray smell terrible 2)Copic markers are expensive...But they ARE refillable.Hope this help. Was wondering why there isn't any drawing thats dated for 2006.Must keep on drawing (i'm also a struggling wanting to be comicbook artist).Be back soon and keep it up the good works.

You also need to buy sand paper-when the stump or smudger's head is too dark, swipe it on the sand paper until its white again. They are relatively cheap so buy a lot.Oh i found this technique on Travis Charest's site.
